DISCLAIMER: Do not judge the write up. It is only words from a grieved heart that could not bear the tragic news. Hence, has written from perspectives of the students who are not a part of the earth anymore.
I don't know what their thoughts were like. Everyone's been writing about so much on the networking sites for these lost souls. I thought why not write back to them on behalf of all those who lost their lives in the tragic occurrence at Himachal - Beas. And this is what I came up with.
A hope of togetherness glows down from the rays as we
travel together on those strange roads for the first time and each of us
decide on letting go off those indefinitely significant thoughts about where we were progressing. We cling onto each other, holding up in fits of laughter and
joys alongside, recalling every bit of story that desired no subject matter,
our giggles of glory clutching us onto the precious side of brief moments and we didn’t want to know yet about what stood ahead of us. What
we’ve been in the midst of the journey so far is not emphasized on what may
happen to it in the forthcoming radical streams of intuition. All we knew was to smile together;
sing along, dream around, talking out loud, being silly, cool, virtual, being
who we have been and most importantly we have forgotten about what the next few
hours puts forward to most of us.
Our journey could have been no greater in excellence without
these friends that were added to each other’s lives. We have endured to be happy
most of however long we have spent mutually. How could we even guess that a
wave would strike us down? None of us could have ever esteemed about this side
of the “worth” our friendship weighed, until we began losing track of our
breaths. Our exchange of feelings towards each other wasn’t just with the words
we could pronounce but it poses beauty of truth if you have watched us
holding each other for the last moments of our lives. We didn’t care about who
wanted to go where first, but hoped our togetherness to persuade a greater
solution. The waves were huge, but our love, was much beyond. We controlled for
splits seconds challenging the risk until it calmed down and assisted the rest
to get onto the ground they were still meant to hold on. Is this why we dragged ourselves
all the way to witness a storm come our way? We struggled for grip on that one big rock,
imposing control on ourselves as tight as we could, yet, we lost our ground but
certainly for the impermanent. If only we had a road map to life, we'd have known our safety zones. But, our feet have landed on a much safer road and
we are inseparables in the very existence of the word.
That’s what, the journey of every life has so far been about.
You are sitting there wondering what our thoughts might have been like. And we
watch you down from the skies, extending an example of what “life” is mostly
about. It is about what your next stop may or may not offer. How you live right
now gets you on the marking of an immeasurable aspect of being open to
the reality of God’s great plan. Well, our stories sometimes may have changed, due
to lack of fore-warnings, but it definitely won’t terminate the truth, that so
far, whatever we have been, were undoubtedly THE BEST. So, why are you weeping
about the sheer negligence on whose ever part? This is what was offered to us
and this is what was accepted by us. There can be no change or alterations to
this disturbing truth. Nothing can be reversed nor restored. We may never
return but take a few moments to treasure all that we could be so far and also
know that we stand out in every absolute amazing way. Lift your eyes up because
we are all looking down at you, wanting your smiles back on to your faces. Even
when fear strangled our breaths, we all SMILED together by the end of it all. And
this journey was meant to have a perfect end, even if it did in the very imperfect hour.
And if it jumbles your heart know that we are around as a very good part, regardless you’ve known us or not.
This is life. This has been our journey. Your tears are
valuable to us. Your smiles are even more. You choose what you want to choose. But
this is where we were meant to belong, even if the journey was short, it was
the longest of lives we chose while being on this beautiful earth.
At the gates of Heavens we
stand, enrolling ourselves for a fresh journey, a new start and this journey will have no END!
Love
All of us.
PS: Took me by tears to write this. Condolences to every grieved heart.
